We started our volunteer "job" at Myrtle Beach State Park on Sept 3rd. Though we'd visited the park many times in the past, this is our first time as Camp Host. Our "job" consist of "working the hill", which means we man the check-in booth and check in campers. Great fun, meeting people from all over. So far the furtherest visitors were from Canada.
As we get settled in, I'll take pictures of the area and post them. We will be here at Myrtle Beach State Park until the end of November at which time we'll move down to Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, about 15 miles south.
We are looking forward to visiting with friends and family while in the area.
