We traveled to Traverse City to see Sleeping Bear Dunes. It is like nothing I've seen before. Mounds and mounds of sand, as tall as small mountains, with Lake Michigan as the back drop. Climbing down or up the dunes was not for the faint of heart and thus our group did not attempt it.

In the evening we had dinner at The Blue Tracker. Some folks in the campground recommended it and the food was wonderful, well worth the drive into town.
